Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected through this site is Pantone Stefania, based in Pietrapertosa, C/da Santa Lucia snc, Italy — VAT number 02156110765, tax code PNTSFN85T66G942N. For any request regarding your personal data, write to info@dolomitiacavallo.it.
Data we collect and purposes of processing
The site collects personal data only when voluntarily provided by the user, for example by filling in the form in the "Book now" section or by writing directly via email, WhatsApp or Messenger.
The data collected through the form are: full name, email address, phone number, date and package of the requested experience, number of participants, and any message. This data is used exclusively to reply to the request and organise the ride. It is never used for marketing purposes, never shared with third parties for commercial purposes, and never used for any form of automated profiling.
Legal basis for processing
Processing of the data collected through the contact form is based on Art. 6.1.b GDPR (pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject) and on the explicit consent given via the checkbox included in the form itself (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
How data is processed and third parties involved
Data is processed using IT tools and adequate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. To run the site we rely on the following external services, which act as processors or independent controllers under their own privacy notices:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) — receives the data entered in the contact form for the sole purpose of forwarding it to our email inbox.
- Vercel Inc. — hosts the site and automatically processes technical browsing data (e.g. IP address, browser type) in server logs, for security and service operation purposes.
- Google LLC — the "How to get here" page embeds a map via a Google Maps iframe: when it loads, the browser connects directly to Google's servers under Google's own privacy notice. Only if you consent to analytics cookies (see the "Cookies" section below), we also use Google Analytics for aggregated traffic statistics.
None of these parties use the data for purposes other than those stated above. Dolomiti a Cavallo never sells or shares personal data for advertising purposes.
Data retention
Data collected through the contact form is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting relationship, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless a longer period is required by law (e.g. tax record-keeping).
Reviews published on the site
The reviews shown in the "What our guests say" section are excerpts of reviews publicly published by guests on our Google Business listing. Last names are shortened to limit the personal data exposed.
Your rights
At any time you can exercise, by writing to info@dolomitiacavallo.it, the rights set out in Articles 15-22 GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) if you believe the processing of your data breaches applicable law.
Cookies
This site uses the following categories of cookies.
Technical cookies (always active). Necessary for the site to work; they do not require consent. These include a session cookie set only for whoever logs into the restricted content-management area — it does not concern public visitors of the site. The map embedded in the "How to get here" page is provided by Google Maps: when the page loads, Google may set its own technical cookies under its own notice.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent). With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a statistical analysis service provided by Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, to understand in aggregated and anonymous form how the site is used (pages visited, traffic sources) and improve it accordingly. Google Analytics is not loaded until you select "Accept" in the cookie banner, and is never used for advertising purposes or cross-referenced with other data that could directly identify you.
- _ga — anonymously identifies the device to distinguish users; duration: up to 2 years.
- _ga_<ID> — keeps track of the analytics session state; duration: up to 2 years.
Google may transfer this data to servers in the United States; Google LLC adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate legal basis for such transfers. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy and, if you wish, opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing Google's browser add-on.
You can accept or reject analytics cookies the first time you visit the site, and change your mind at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
Changes to this policy
The controller reserves the right to update this policy in case of regulatory changes or changes to how the site works. Updates will be published on this page with the date of the last revision.
